This is a twelve page insert I did a long while back for a Tolkien Roleplaying Fanzine called "Other Hands", edited by my friend, Chris Seeman.
Normally, the articles in Other Hands were of a serious nature, detailing, at length, how magic worked in Middle Earth or how
the tanning processes used by the Duadain differed from the Numenorian tradition and how to implement that
using a hybrid MERP/Runequest system and accompanying chart.
Unfortunately for them, I decided I wanted to write something of a less serious nature, and thus created this supplement
to the Teenagers From Outer Space rpg by R. Talsorian games. I think it still holds
up fairly well after all these years.
I no longer have the text files, so
you'll have to look at them as scanned gifs, but I think they're pretty legible, still.
Unfortunately, Chris went on to bigger and better things, and the people holding the
Tolkien license suddenly got a
lot stingier with their intellectual property, so the printed Other Hands is no more.
However, the Other Hands website still exists today.
